What kind of breathing humans do?

Humans do mainly four types of breathing :

1. Eupnea is normal quiet breathing that requires contraction of the diaphragm and external intercostal muscles.
2. Diaphragmatic breathing needs contraction of the diaphragm and is also called deep breathing.
3. Costal breathing needs contraction of the intercostal muscles and is also called shallow breathing.
4. Hyperpnea is forced breathing and requires muscle contractions during both inspiration and expiration.
