2C2H6(g)2 vol.+7O2(g)5 vol.4CO2(g)4 vol.+6H2O(g)6 vol.

By Gat Lussac’s law:

2 vol. of ethane require for complete combustion = 7 vol. of oxygen.

100 litres of ethane will require for complete combustion = 72×100 = 350 litres of oxygen.

Hence, the required volume of oxygen is 350 litres.
