• The Bourbon Dynasty was restored to power in France.
• France also lost all of the territories it had gained under Napoleon.
• A number of states were set up sharing boundaries with France in order to check future French expansion.
• The Netherlands was added to the North and Piedmont saw the addition of Genoa in the South.
• Prussia gained new territories on its western frontier and also a part of Saxony. Austria gained control over northern Italy, while Russia acquired a part of Poland.
