Solution
Wastes produced by Fish:
The waste produced by fish contains nitrogen and minerals.
It is used for the growth of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) because fish waste is the good source of nutrient for LAB.
Fish waste also includes Ammonia as it is formed during the process of metabolism of proteins.
Ammonia is the major waste generated by fish.
Ammonia is majorly excreted through gills.
Processed or treated fish waste can be used as animal feed, biodiesel/biogas, soil fertilizer etc.
