Some changes brought were:
All India Khilafat was brought into being.
Seth Chhotani was made president and Saukat Ali as secretary in lucknow conference in 1919.
Congress and Khilafat members both worked for Swaraj.
In Feburary 1920 Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was made the president ,he passed a resolution for observing a Khilafat day.
