Solution

The correct option is A 0.2 N
Formula to calculate the normality of the solution after mixing is

N1V1+N2V2=N3V3

N1 of HCl=0.1 NV1 of HCl=100 mL
N2 of HNO3=0.25 NV2 of HNO3=200 mL

N3 and V3 are the normality & volume of the final solution.
V3=Total volume=100+200=300 mL
(0.1×100)+(0.25×200)=N3×(300)60=N3×300N3=0.2 N
The normality of the solution obtained is 0.2 N.
