Saturated solution

A solution in which the amount of dissolved solute is equal to the saturation point of the solvent, the solution is called a saturated solution.

Saturated solution after cooling:

  • After cooling the saturated solution the solubility of the solute decreases.
  • Due to this, it starts forming solid crystals of dissolved solute substance.

Therefore, the solubility of solute will decrease if a saturated solution is cooled.
