Grass→deer→Lion

Open in App
Solution

Lion is a carnivore. If all the carnivores (lions) are removed from given food chain. It will lead to increase in the number of herbivores (deer) which in turn will lead to decrease in the vegetation (grass) in the ecosystem as all herbivores (deer) feed on plants. The decrease in vegetation cover will cause ecological imbalance that will ultimately lead to the death or destruction of whole ecosystem.
