  2. These cells are found in the cardia of the stomach within the gastric glands.
  3. If Oxyntic cells are damaged it will cause pernicious anemia.
  4. Oxyntic cells are responsible for the absorption of vitamin B12.
  5. Oxyntic cells secrete intrinsic factors and concentrated HCI.
