What will happen :
When complete sets of chromosomes are added to diploid genome?

If there is no miosis and the complete set of chromosomes are added to the diploid genome then the ploidy of the zygote will increase from 2n to 4n. Thus it will keep on increasing and there will be an increase in chromosome number.
