a. If India adopts a state religion and becomes a theocratic state, it would certainly have an impact on the democratic structure of our society.
b. It would surely undermine the meaning of democracy of values of freedom, liberty, equality
c. It implies that India would deny right to freedom of religion and conscience.
d. It would result in majority becoming tyrannical and suppressing the minority groups
e. It would also lead to instability and would result in violence and strife in the society
