Given,
Charge of the particle q=2 μC
Workdone by the electric field W=50 μJ

We know, workdone by electric field on a particle of charge q moving between two points A and B is given by

W=q(VAVB)

VAVB=Wq

Substituting the given data we get,

VAVB=50×1062×106=25 V

From this, we can say that VA>VB

Hence, option (b) is the correct answer.
