Wavelength of second waveλ2=2×λ
The stopping potential for the second photoelectric current =Vo,
Here, case (i) e(3V0)=bcλϕ0 ...(i)
Case (ii) eV0=bc2λϕ0 ...(ii)
From eqs. (i) and (ii),
3bc2λ3ϕ0=bcλϕ0
or 3bc2λbcλ=3ϕ0ϕ0=bc2λ=2ϕ0
or, ϕ0=bc4λ
