When a mixture of these four liquids is taken how can they be separated? Justify.

When the mixture of CH3I(Iodo-methane), Acetone(C3H6O), CH3OH(Methanol) and CCl4(Carbon tetrachloride) these liquids are taken. These liquids can be separated by using the methods - Filteration, Evaporation, distillation and chromatography.

Filteration- it can be defined as the technique in which we use a porous material to allow small particles to go through and then it acts as a barrier for the particles which are bigger in the size.

Evaporation- This process can be considered as the process of liquid changing into vapours even below its boiling point.

Distillation- It is a method to separate a mixture of liquid components into individual liquid components.

Chromatography- It is a method by which we can separate the mixtures by distributing their components between the two phases.
