Wavelength of the visible light is of the order of nanometers.

So light cannot bend around objects noticeably. For sound waves wavelength is much higher. So it can bend around objects.
Light doesn't get bend by mirrors. It gets reflected.

But radio waves (electromagnetic radiation like visible light) can bend around objects because their wavelength is of the order of meters
