The correct option is B 5
Let there be two images at v1,v2 formed from two objects at u1,u2 by a lens of focal length f.
Thus 1v1=1u1+1f
And 1v2=1u2+1f
Now the magnification of first image is given by v1u1=+2
Similarly v2u2=4
Substituting these values in above equations gives,
v2v1=5
Hence the two images are formed on opposite sides of the lens, with the second image 5 times farther than the first image from the lens.
