Open in App
Solution

Dear student,
Blooming flower in presence of light is a nastic movement called photonasty because it is independent of direction of stimulus. Tropic movement is a growth related movement and its movement depends on direction of stimulus but nastic movement can be or can not be growth related movement and it does not depend on direction of stimulus.
