Question

when we suck out air from an empty tetra pack of frooti the pack gets crushed? why.

Open in App
Solution

Its because of the difference in pressure.
when we suck out air from an empty tetra pack, air from the inside of pack will be sucked out
thus a low pressure region is created inside the frooti pack compared to outside of the pack.As we know air will travel from high pressure region to low pressure region,so air from the outside tries to go to inside inside of the pack .while doing so it exerts force on the side walls of the pack .Thus the pack gets crushed.

hope you got it
