Question

WHERE ARE RIBOSOMES AND LYSOSOMES FORMED

Open in App
Solution

Ribosomes have two components- rRNA which is formed in the nucleolus inside the nucleus and the ribosomal proteins which are formed in the cytoplasm and are then sent to the nucleus where these two components assemble to give rise to the ribosome.
Lysosomes are formed by the fusion of transport vesicles that bud from the trans golgi network with endosomes.
