Where do the cells store water, salts and excretory materials?
Vacuoles
Vacuoles are the storage sacs of cells. Excess food, water, salts and excretory materials are stored in the vacuoles. Plant cells have a single, big central vacuole while animal cells have numerous, small vacuoles. Golgi bodies function in the secretion of molecules. Leucoplasts are colourless plastids and are used to store starch and fats. Nucleolus is a dense part of the nucleus that is associated with ribosome assembly.
