Which among the following does not act as a driving force of evolution?
Speciation
Speciation is is the origin of new species by a gradual modification of organisms. Since speciation is a result of evolution it cannot be considered as a force that influences evolution.
Whereas mutation, genetic drift , natural selection and gene flow are the major forces that create or induce variations among organisms to create new species.
These species are capable enough to survive and reproduce and are hence considered to be evolved species.
