Which areas did the new East Bengal province comprise after the partition of Bengal?

The Partition of Bengal was the decision of separating eastern parts of Bengal from rest of Bengal. It was announced on 20 July 1905 by the Viceroy of India, Lord Curzon. The scheme was prepared to divide Bengal to 2 provinces- Bengal which included the western districts of Bengal proper, Bihar and Orissa was separated from eastern Bengal which included Assam. Eastern part was dominated by Bengali Muslims and the province of West Bengal was dominated by non-Bengali population.
