Dear student......1st or 17th group of the periodic table contains metal, non- metal , liquid as well as gas at room temperature. in 1st Group, H is non - metal and gas at room temperature while all other elements of this group are metals . and Cs is liquid metal. in 17th group , Br is liquid non - metal while other elements of this group are gaseous non - metals .
