  1. The hormone vasopressin or antidiuretic hormone(AHD) is responsible for the direct control of water excretion in the kidney.
  2. ADH is secreted by the hypothalamus and its secretion is influenced by several factors.
  3. The hormone that the adrenal gland secretes to control the fluid balance in the kidney is called aldosterone.
  4. It is responsible for stimulating the reabsorption of sodium ions into the blood.
  5. It stimulates the release of ions of potassium in the urine and absorbs water from the distal tube.
  6. It is helpful in the collection of ducts of nephrons.
  7. The reabsorption of water and electrolysis in kidneys is due to aldosterone.
