Following metals are used to decorate sweets:-

1. Silver foil because of high malleability and thus can be hammered into thin silver sheets is used for decorating sweets.
2. Vark, also called varak, is a super fine filigree foil sheet of pure metals, typically silver but sometimes gold, used to decorate South Asian sweets and food to make those look more appetising. The silver and gold are edible, though flavourless.
3. Aluminium metal is also used to decorate some sweets.
