Which of the 3 soils allow maximum percolation of water and which one allow maximum absorption of water? Give reasons also

Sandy soil allow maximum percolation of water because of large size of particles. Sand particles cannot fit close together and hence there is enough space among them.
Loamy soil allows maximum absorption of water because of smaller size of the particles which can hold more water in it.
