Solution

The correct option is D N,N-dimethylethanamine
The Hinsberg test, which can distinguish primary, secondary, and tertiary amines, is based upon sulphonamide formation.
In the Hinsberg test, an amine is reacted with benzene sulphonyl chloride. If a sulphonamide product forms, the amine is either a primary or secondary amine. Tertiary amines do not form stable sulphonamides due to absence of acidic proton.

If the product is soluble in alkali, it is formed by primary amines whereas product formed by secondary amine is not soluble in alkali.

Since, option (a) and (d) are tertiary amines they does not form sulphonamides.
