Solution

The correct option is A (i), (ii)
Magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2) and calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) are sparingly soluble in water and are also weak bases. Therefore, Mg2+ and Ca2+ ion do not undergo hydrolysis in aqueous solutions . While Na+ and K+ undergo hydrolysis as they are strong bases that is NaOH and KOH.
