In compound (a), (c) and (d) there is no separation of opposite charge in the molecule. Therefore, they are non- polar compound.
In compound (b), charge separation happens because it leads to the formation of stable aromatic ring in the compound. In compond (b) both the ring has 6 π-electrons which obeys the Huckel's rule and they are aromatic in nature. Thus, it is a quasi aromatic compound and polar in nature
