The correct option is A

x = A sin (ky - ωt)


I hope you remember the general wave equation y = A sin (kx ωt).

When wave was travelling along x-direction

Here wave is travelling along y.

So particles will oscillate in(or parallel to)xz plane

So logically it should be x = A sin (ky ωt)

Also option (d) is dimensionally incorrect [λt] should be dimensionless as θ.
