A 1, 4-dimethylcyclohex-1-ene
B 2, 3-dimethylcyclohexene
According to IUPAC name, in case of substituted cycloalkenes, the double bond is given the lowest possible number and numbering is done in such a way that the substituents get the lowest number.
The correct name should be 2, 3-dimethylcyclohex-1-ene.
1,4-dimethylcyclohex-1-ene in option A is also correct as, during the numbering, the numbering is started from methyl group on double bond in the cyclohexene.
