Solution

The correct option is A Histone proteins
The bacterial DNA is usually called the chromosome. It, however, differs from the chromosome of higher eukaryotes where the DNA is associated with histone proteins. Bacterial chromosomes do not show evidence of possessing histone proteins. It has been estimated that the DNA of E.Coli has a total length of about 1 mm and has about 5000 genes which code for about 2000 different enzymes.
So, the correct answer is option A.
