Solution

The correct option is A B and C

A series consisting of organisms eating one and being eaten by another is called a food chain. A simple food chain consists of producers, herbivores and carnivores. The length of the food chain is generally limited by the energy loss that occurs when energy is transferred from one trophic level to another. Therefore, eventually after 3-4 trophic levels, there will be no more energy available in the system to sustain another trophic level. In grazing food chain, the producers are eaten by herbivores and the herbivores are eaten by carnivores. Therefore, the removal of most of the carnivores resulted in an increased population of deer.
