Which of the following is/are the equation of a circle?
The general equation of circle is x2 + y2 + 2gx + 2fy + c = 0. Here, the coefficients of x2 and y2 are equal and there is no xy term.
So all the three equations A, B and C represents a circle
Some of you might be thinking that the standard equation is
(x−h)2 + (y−k)2 = r2 and in (B) it is
(x−h)2 + (y−k)2 = r . The only difference is first one represents a circle with radius r and second one represents a circle with radius √r.
