4Au +8NaCN +O2+2H2O 4Na[Au(CN)2] +4NaOH
(Sodium dicyanoaurate (I))

Au2S +4NaCN 2Na[Au(CN)2] +Na2S

4Na2S +2H2O +5O2 2Na2SO4 +4NaOH+4S

2Na[Au(CN)2] +Zn Na2[Zn(CN)4] +2Au (Gold)
