Which of the following is the correct sequence for the pulmonary circuit?
Right Ventricle → Pulmonary Artery → Lungs → Pulmonary Vein → Left Auricle
Blood circulation in our body is known as "Double Circulation" because blood flows twice through our heart. The circuit is divided into 2 parts, the short pulmonary circuit and the long systemic circuit. The pulmonary circuit begins from the right ventricle of our heart, carries deoxygenated blood through the pulmonary artery which divides into 2 branches that enter the lungs. The blood gets oxygenated here and is collected by the pulmonary vein which enters the heart through the left auricle back to the heart.
