The correct option is C Leuconoid type
Choanocytes, the flagellated collar cells are the characteristic feature of phylum Porifera and serve in setting the water current that delivers food and oxygen and removes waste and carbon dioxide. It also serves in phagocytosis of food particles. In a simple type of canal system, there is a lesser number of cells and thin body wall but as the canal system becomes more complex, the number of flagellated cells increases and the force to draw water current is increased. The syncoid canal system is, therefore, more efficient than the asconoid type and the leuconid type is the most efficient.
So, the correct answer is option B.
