Distillation technique is used to separate volatile substance from non-volatile compound in a mixture i.e., they have their individual different boiling point temperature.

Azeotropic mixture is a liquid mixture of two miscible liquids which distill over without changes in composition.

These azetropic mixture boils at a same temperature rather than the boiling temperature of individual liquids.
Hence, during boiling the composition remains same.
So, azeotropic mixture are not separated by any of the distillation techniques.
