Ho Chi Minh(1890-1969) was a famous Vietnamese national leader who led a long and ultimately successful campaign to make Vietnam independent. Born in Tongking, Ho Chi Minh went to Europe at the age of twenty one.
He worked in a hotel in London and visited Paris and later influenced the Paris Peace Conference for the cause of Vietnam’s independence.
His articles like ‘French Colonialism on Trial’ became popular in newspapers and pamphlets.
In 1921, he co-founded the French Communist Party.
Two years later in 1923, he learnt revolutionary techniques from Moscow and founded the Revolutionary Youth Movement in 1925.
