Which of the following tissues are exclusively present in plants and are composed of actively dividing cells?
Meristematic tissue
Meristematic tissues are plant tissues which are composed of actively dividing cells. They are found in tips of roots and shoots and at the other active sites of growth in a plant. Fibrous tissue and connective tissue are found in animals and not in plants. Vascular tissues are derived from meristematic tissues when the latter differentiate and lose its ability to divide.
