Which of the following was/were supported by Hyderabad State Congress?
Hyderabad State Congress was a political party in the princely state of Hyderabad. The principal leader who found the party was Swami Ramanand Tirtha. The party was formed in the year 1939. This party fought against Nizam atrocities and demanded an independent state of Hyderabad, united with the Indian republic. The Nizam gave patronage to theMajlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen and allowed its militant wing, theRazakars, to operate freely. Thus Hyderabad State Congress opposed Nizam rule as well as razakars.
