  • Lead Bromide(PbBr2) during electrolysis, Silver-grey colored lead will be deposited at the cathode, and reddish-brown bromine gas will get deposited at the anode electrodes.
  • The reaction is,

Cathode:Pb2+Leadion+2e-PbLeadAnode:2Br-BromidesBr2Bromine+2e-

  • So, Bromine gas is deposited at the Anode.
