Sir Syed Ahmad Khan was Muslim educator, author, jurist and helped found Anglo-Mohammedan Oriental College at Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh (1875) now known as Aligarh Muslim University. Madan Mohan Malviya was a scholar, educational reformer, and leader of Indian national movement. He founded Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 1916.
