T-cells: These cells are primarily associated with cell-mediated immunity. These are activated, when a specific antigen is presented to them by the antigen presenting cells through the MHC complex.
B-cells: These cells are associated with humoral immunity. B cells produces specific antibodies in response to particular antigen.
Stem cells: These cells acts as a progenitor which helps in haematopoiesis.
Phagocytes: These cells are essentially monocytes, which attack any pathogen and consume them whole and digest them. They donot have a specific target. For example, macrophages, histiocytes, kuffer cells.
