Autogamy: Transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of the same flower.
Geitonogamy: The transfer of pollen from the anther of one flower to the stigma of another flower in the same plant.
Whereas, in Papaya both these are not possible. The female plants produce fruit and may be cross pollinated with others by pollinating agents like insects and wind. It is because in papaya both male and female flowers are present on different plants.
