Solution

The correct option is A Ribosome comes to a stop codon on the mRNA
Translation is the process of formation of proteins by the mRNA coding sequence. At the time of translation ribosomes smaller and larger subunits are attached to the mRNA where RNA polymerase also binds and the protein synthesis occurs. The tRNA helps mRNA in protein synthesis and binds its anticodon arm which has three nucleotide bases acting as codons and forms specific amino acids and joining them in a sequential manner. As the tRNA detaches itself after the formation of its amino acid, the amino acid that is formed will be carried to attach it into the growing polypeptide chain. At the end when the stop or termination codons attaches to mRNA it stops the protein synthesis and translation gets suspended.
So, the correct option is 'Ribosome comes to a stop codon on the mRNA'.
