Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects CNS(brain &Spinal cord)
It is caused due to damage the myelin sheath. this sheath protects and surrounds the Nerve cells
CNS is mainly attacked
Due to damage to this myelin sheath, no signal slow down or stop transmission.
So mainly central nervous system which includes the brain and spinal cord gets affected.
