P4O6 is a white soft, white solid. When this is further burnt in a good suplly of oxygen,
P4O6(s)+2O2(g)P4O10(s)
The overall reaction is very highly exothermic:
P4(s)+5O2(g)P4O10(s) Δ H < 0
