Surendranath Banerjee and Anandamohan Bose were main organisers who took the leadership in convening Indian National Conference in 1883. The first Indian National Conference was held in Kolkata at Albert Hall from 28 to 30 December 1883. There were two sessions of it, and the second Indian National Conference was also held in Kolkata from 25 to 27 December 1885.
