a. It was during the non cooperation movement that , Mahatma Gandhi and Shaukat Ali toured the country for the purpose mustering popular support
b It was a collective endeavour on part of both the leaders to incorporate all sections of the Indian society and to incorporate Khilafat agitation with the non cooperation
c. Both the leaders were of belief that in case of Governments' repression, they would launch a country wide agitation and civil disobedience.
